We stayed in Koukounaries for the last two weeks of August, at the Panorama Hotel. Everything about our stay was excellent - the hotel (very clean & friendly with great pool), the beaches (what can I say!) and lots of good restaurants. We specially liked the Agustera Bar - great cocktails & friendly bar staff - also Ilias Orchard & the Panorama taverna for food. Skiathos town was exciting (specially the bus there & back). Can't wait to go back to Skiathos!

We stopped in Angelos Studios & Apaprtments in koukanaries. They were really nice and clean and the pool was lovely. It is a very quite resort and not a lot to do expect go to the beaches (which are beautiful!) However, the bus service was really good so you can get about and see the rest of the island. There is plenty to do and many places to eat if you go to Skiathos Town as well. Koukanaries is a really good place to go if you just want to relax.
