By plane - Olympic Airways offers daily flights from Athens during the summer. Flight time is approximately 40 minutes and the distance from the airport to the town is 3 kilometres.

By ferry - From Aghios Konstantinos there are two or three services per day during the summer. The distance is 44 nautical miles and the crossing time is just over 3 hours. Bus services run often from Athens to Aghios Konstantinos, a distance of 165 kilometres.

From Volos there are two or three services per day during the summer, daily in winter. The distance is 42 Nautical miles and the crossing time is 3 hours.

From Kymi in Euboea there are three services per week in summer. The distance is 50 nautical miles and the crossing time is 6 hours.

There is also a line that connects Skiathos with Thessaloniki, Cyclades islands and Crete; there are three services per week in summer.
